New Guy In The Room: River Dragons Sign Noah Doyle To First Pro Contract

Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Noah Doyle to his first pro contract.

Doyle, 22, is a right-handed shooting defenseman from Aurora, Ontario in Canada. He's been in the Canadian youth and junior systems at a high level for the past six seasons.

"I’m super excited to be joining the Dragons & being part of a team that knows what it takes to win" Doyle said. "I can’t wait to get things going in Columbus!"

Doyle was a mainstay in the Ontario Junior A Hockey League (OJHL) skating three seasons and appearing in 107 games. 86 of those games were spent with the Burlington Cougars, a team Doyle captained in the 2018-19 season.

After his time in the OJHL, Doyle moved to play for the Rockland Nationals during the 19-20 season and then most recently appeared in games with the GMHL's Bradford Bulls in the 20-21 season.
