How many games are in each round?
Each round is a best-of-three games. The first team to win two games wins the series.
How do we know when we are playing?
The River Dragons have advanced to round two against the Carolina Thunderbirds. The first game will be played in Carolina on Friday, April 26. Game two of the series will be played at home on Saturday, April 27 @ 7:35 PM. Game three of the series will be played on Sunday, April 28 @ 6:05 PM (IF NEEDED).
What is home ice advantage and why are we still playing away games if we have it?
Home ice advantage is when you can play the deciding game of a series on home ice. In professional sports playoffs, both teams still get to host playoff games in a series.
Why does TicketMaster say a different game number than the game number of the series?
The number on TicketMaster correlates with what HOME GAME it is. We had a maximum of seven potential playoff home games so your ticket will correspond to which scheduled home game it is.
How playoff tickets are numbered based on a seven-game max schedule:
Round One: Round 1, Home Game 1 (played, CRD win series 2-0) Round 1, Home Game 2 (not played, credit or refund will apply)
Round Two: Round 2, Home Game 1 (First home game against Carolina, second actual game of the series. Ticket reads Round 2, Home Game 1)
Round 2, Home Game 2 (If played, ticket reads Round 2, Home Game 2)
Etc.
Why do we not have seven home games like the package I purchased?
The Commisioners Cup Final may be played as a best-of-five or best-of-three series. This year it has been determined that the Final will be a best-of-three, meaning one less possible home game for the River Dragons.
If we do not play a scheduled game, what happens to my tickets? Can I use them for the next game or will I get refunded?
If we do not play a scheduled game, you will be refunded for your single game tickets by either TicketMaster or the Columbus Civic Center Box Office.
If you purchased a seven game package, you will either be refunded or have the credit-rider roll over at the end of playoffs depending on which choice you purchased!
