RIVER DRAGONS AND RUMBLE BEES AGREE ON RESCHEDULED LATE SEASON SERIES

Columbus, GA - The Columbus River Dragons and the Battle Creek Rumble Bees have come to an agreement to change the location of FPHL games 269 and 274.

The games originally scheduled for The Rink in Battle Creek, will now be played at the Columbus Ice Rink adjacent to the Columbus Civic Center.

Game 269 will be played on Saturday, March 28 and be scheduled for a 2:05 puck drop. Game 274 will be played on Sunday, March 29 and have a 4:05 puck drop.

The River Dragons and Rumble Bees have made organizational concessions to pull off this move and believe it to be in the best interest of both clubs to cut down on overnight travel in an attempt to play a game in West Georgia and then the next night in Southwestern Michigan. With the move, the teams will now play three games in three nights in buildings that are mere feet from each other rather than over 850 miles apart.

There will be two sets of prices for these adjusted Battle Creek home games. Reserved glass seats will be $25 and general admission everywhere else in the Columbus Ice Rink will be $12. River Dragons season ticket holders will receive an exclusive presale offer between February 3 at 10 A.M. to February 7 at 4 P.M. Season ticket members will be allowed to purchase up to as many seats as they have already with the River Dragons for the two games. The season ticket holder presale offer can be redeemed at the River Dragons offices.

General public on-sale will begin on Monday, February 10 at 10 A.M. and feature the same prices. Once the games are on sale to the general public, all ticket sales will be handled by the Civic Center box office.

The River Dragons and Rumble Bees play each other five times this season with these two adjusted games being the final ones in the season set.

Other promotional news about the games, if any, will come out at a later date.
