MACDONALD ADDS CHAMPIONSHIP, MVP PEDIGREE TO CRD

COLUMBUS, GA - The Columbus River Dragons announced today that the team has signed a dominating offensive force, inking high-scoring center Justin MacDonald to a PTO for the 2023-24 season.


The 32-year-old MacDonald comes in with an impressive list of credentials, having won three league titles at this level. He has also been named FPHL Most Valuable Player twice, and also won the honor last season in the SPHL after leading the league in goals (34), assists (45) and points (79). He has also twice led the FPHL in goals including a career-high 60 in 2021-22 with the Watertown Wolves.


Over the span of his career the 6-1, 201-pound Newmarket, Ontario native appeared in 176 ECHL games, 234 in the SPHL and 124 in the FPHL. In those 124 FPHL games he has an incredible 261 points, for a 2.10 points-per-game average.
