River Dragons Continue to Build Developmental Pipeline

The Columbus River Dragons of the FPHL are pleased to announce that the team has entered into a working agreement with the Bradford Bulls of the Greater Metro Hockey League (GMHL). The Bulls are a successful Canadian Tier II junior hockey team that began play in 2012. The Bulls organization has been responsible for developing and moving numerous players on to the college and professional level. The River Dragons look forward to working with GM and Head Coach Brandon Billie in the continued development of his players who want to begin the transition to professional hockey.

The FPHL is entering its tenth season with ten teams. The league has been responsible for promoting and advancing over 500 players to the various professional leagues including the AHL, ECHL, SPHL, and European leagues. This partnership will give many prospective players a developmental pipeline to advance from the Bradford Bulls to the River Dragons as we continue to lay the foundation for years of championship hockey in Columbus.
